Και η μονομαχία στο πρώην Kodak Theater έβγαλε νικητή... Δεκάδες εκατομμύρια μάτια στραμμένα στα φώτα του Χόλιγουντ παρακολούθησαν τη "σεμνή" τελετή ξενυχτώντας ή όχι ανάλογα με το μήκος και πλάτος της χώρας τους στον πλανήτη του θεάματος.
Προσδοκίες δεν επαληθεύτηκαν, φαβορί έχασαν, outsider βρέθηκαν στο βάθρο και ο χορός καλά κράτησε μέχρι τα ξημερώματα Δευτέρας, ώρα Ελλάδος. Ζήτω ο βασιλιάς λοιπόν, μέχρι τον επόμενο βασιλιά. Κάτι σαν το Καρναβάλι της Πάτρας που εξελισσόταν ταυτόχρονα.
